Session de création autour du programme Resonance, avec Samuel Cattiau, Pelva Naïk, Quentin Dujardin et Sanjay Agle dans le cadre de la 27ème édition du Festival des musiques Sacrée de Fès (Maroc) avec le thème “L'eau et le sacré” cette année. Répétions riches, intenses, fluides. Pelva Naïk est l'un des jeunes espoirs féminins de l'art vocal dhrupad. Disciple de feu Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar, son attention se porte à chaque instant sur la concordance entre la note et le verbe poétique. Dans cette quête de subtilité, Sanjay Agle, maître du tambour pakhawaj capable d'imprimer ses résonances, l'accompagne.
En trois jours, les musiciens ont construit un répertoire autour de ragas et des textes de musiques anciennes d’Europe du XIIIème au XVème siècles. Ils ont présenté le concert au Jardin Jnan Sbil, un des très beaux jardins en bordure de la médina. Le public, nombreux et international a témoigné sa gratitude. ”Un moment de grâce, inspiré, nous retrouvons ici l’essence de ce festival des musiques sacrées du monde“. Creation session around Resonance program, with Samuel Cattiau, Pelva Naïk, Quentin Dujardin and Sanjay Agle as part of the 27th edition of the Sacred Music Festival of Fes (Morocco) with the theme "Water and the Sacred" this year. Rehearsals rich, intense, fluid. Pelva Naïk is one of the foremost female practitioners of the art of dhrupad. Having studied under maestro Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar, she concentrates constantly on the concord between the note ant the poetry. In her quest for subtlety Pelva is accompanied by Sanjay Agle, maestro of the magnificient tambour pakhawaj with its mellow tones.In three days, musicians built a repertoire around ragas from the 11th to the 16th centuries and texts of ancient music from Europe. They presented one concert at the Garden Jnan Sbil, one of the beautiful garden of the medina. The public, numerous and international testified its gratitude.
